I thought some people might be interested in this use of technology for online images.  I'm sure it's not new to a lot of you but some might find it interesting -- I sure do.
 
A sixteen-billion pixel imageof the Last Supper is now available. Leonardo da Vinci painted the Last Supper at the end of the fifteen century. More than 350,000 people see the painting each year, and some believe that the picture is degrading because of these viewing.
