Staking a Claim - Memory Institutions take on a [Second] Life of their own

You are cordially invited to joint the Round Table discussion for RL 
and SL participants - 'Persistent Worlds; will they ever go away' 
that will take place on Tuesday, 20th November simultaneously at 
Hebrew University, Jerusalem (14.30-16.00 local time) and on the 
EVA/MINERVA2007 platform, especially constructed for the conference 
400 meters above sea level on the Kythio Island in Second Life.

Leading SL developers, museum and gallery owners will introduce the 
participants to their in-world activities with a tour of their sims 
and will come together to discuss the past, present and future of 
virtual worlds on the Kythio platform.

The sims visited include:

         Virtual Starry Night - Vincent's, Luctesa
         Milan Brynner

         Stockholm's Old City, Gamla Stan, Sweden
         Kaja Lurra

         The Splo The Exploratorium, San Francisco, US
         Pepto Majestic

         Cetus Gallery District, Ruttan Development Company, US
         Xander Ruttan
