We are trying to get together a policies and procedures manual for our work in Registration, and one of the topics that came up was Installations.

Currently we are training our staff on the fly and we are thinking a formal document listing how we determine hanging and mounting methods, hardware to be used and instructions would be better. We also thought that we could use this section of our document to illustrate to lenders how we care for their objects while on display. My problem is I have yet to find any document of this type. Do any of your institutions have something along those lines that we might use as a template/resource?
