I think the three Cincinnati museums that are in their Union Station also do joint marketing, but it’s easier because they are all in the same physical location.  http://www.cincymuseum.org

You should check out the Austin Museum Partnership (www.austinmuseums.org).  The Austin Museum Partnership is a consortium of Austin-area museums.  They host the annual Austin Museum Day and have successful joint marketing campaigns.
