9:30-4:00

Historic Cherry Hill
Albany, NY

This is a free program!

Develop an IPM program for your institution.

This day long session is specifically geared toward small institutions with
limited staff, and for sites that rely on volunteers for part or all of
their collections care, maintenance and housekeeping functions.

Previous program participants said this program has
 "lots of good, practical information..."
being "...on site at Cherry Hill gave the opportunity for lots of show and
tell."

Workshop Highlights:

   - What is an IPM Program?
   - Why does your institution need one?
   - Creating a site-specific plan.
   - Monitoring, trapping and identification of insects.
   - How to prevent an infestation.
   - Bagging and freezing for abatement.

You need this training class if you have had an infestation in the past, are
currently dealing with an infestation, or if you've never had training to
help you identify insect damage in your collection.

Conservator Gwen Spicer of Spicer Art Conservation, LLC and Erin Crissman,
Curator at Historic Cherry Hill developed this workshop. It is funded
through an IMLS Leadership for the 21st Century grant and in partnership
with Upstate History Alliance.

This is FREE program, but you must register. Program size is limited to 10
participants. Registration will be confirmed based on need. (A repeat
program will be offered in April.) To register go to:
