Book Coordinator Internship
Fall 2007
Intern will be museum’s liaison with publisher and coordinate museum’s
efforts.
Internship will include:
- Keeping museum’s project calendar
- Handling daily correspondence between publisher and museum
- Help museum staff meet deadlines
- Help with research including fact checking and finding quotations
- Object handling including preparing costumes and dressing manikins
- Will track object locations during
project
- Help with object photography
- Data entry using Museum’s collection database—Argus
- Tasks will also include helping with other projects such as installation of costume and textile exhibition
Intern needs to be detailed orientated, able to handle multiple tasks and have good communication skills.
