We have two ESPSON 4180 scanners.  I bought them on line from the ESPON site as refurbished for about $100 each.  They do wonderful scans of photos, slides, and standard size negatives.  Easy to operate, interfaces nicely with Pastperfect.  We even scan small objects (patches, pins, buttons, any one dimensional object that can fit on the scanner bed.

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Scanners

I was wondering if anyone has a good scanner they use that can scan slides, transparencies and film well.  Also something that won't break the bank in price.

Thanks
Tracy
