Hello!  This is my first e-mail to the Museum-L group, so please excuse if certain traits are inconsistent with typical postings.

 

My name is Marjorie Maas, and I own a promotions/marketing company specializing in fine art activity, publicity and communications representation.  A museum professional suggested I pose my question to this list serve.

 

One of my clients is interested in tying in an art or history-related travel opportunity to a fine art fair my company coordinates, and I’ve been tasked with researching what in the coming calendar year will be exhibits with large draw/”blockbuster” status.  Destinations at the top of their list are Chicago, New York, and Denver – but they are open to any location if the event could create excitement among their customers.

 

What in your opinion are the shows with the potential of creating national buzz January-August of next year?  I greatly appreciate your thoughts and time.
