Dear Gail,
We have done two appraisal days at our museum.  The second one was better than the first.  While I agree with Candace that sometimes you see faces and never see them again... that can be ok.  However, we created a payment scale for members/non-members and a discount for people becoming members that day.  If that is of interest... I can send you more info.  I think we captured 14 new members that day (very good for us).

Subject: Appraisal Days

Hello,

I am looking for comments on holding an appraisal day in a museum. If anyone has had some experience with this, I would love to hear your stories - the good and the bad.

Thank you.

Gail
