Mid-atlantic popular | american culture association 18th Annual Conference Call for Papers 2007 MAPACA Conference November 2-4, 2007 Radisson Plaza-Warwick Hotel Philadelphia Proposals for papers, panels and round-tables are invited for the 2007 MAPACA conference in Philadelphia, PA. The conference offers a wide range of research areas in Popular Culture and American Culture. These areas and their corresponding chairs are listed below. Please send a one-page (250-300 word) proposal to the appropriate chair before June 15, 2007. Include a brief CV or bio and any A/V needs. Please note: only slide projectors, carousels, screens and combined VCR/DVD players with monitors are provided. Single papers, three or four person panels, round-tables and alternative formats are encouraged. You may submit proposals to more than one area, but you may present only ONE paper at the conference.
