The Intrepid Museum is gearing up for the re-opening of our new and improved museum complex for 2008! Experience with government grants a must since the qualified candidate will be dealing with grants for major federal, state and local funding. Other job requirements include managing the entire grant cycle including but not limited to grant research, writing and application, grant contract processing, grant administration, and reporting. The Grants Manager will also assist the CFO with grant audits and with the development and compilation of grant budgets and business plans for potential donors. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, time management and research skills as well as the ability to track and reconcile expenditures and financial reporting. Also, superior writing and communication skills and experience handling confidential information is essential. The ability to professionally manage details and regulations is imperative. A Masters Degree and 3 to 5 years experience with Grants preferred. Previous experience with audits a plus. Salary commensurate with experience.
