The Seminole Tribe of Florida's Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum is seeking an Exhibit Manager. The Exhibit Manager reports to the Curator of Collections and oversees all phases of exhibit production and the delivery of exhibit related concepts to the general public. Illustrative tasks include: * Oversees development and management of design concepts, color schemes, floor plans, and working drawings based on concepts developed by the Exhibit Committee. * Actively assists in the planning of permanent and traveling exhibits produced by the STOF Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum. * Oversees projected exhibit budgets. * Supervises all phases of exhibit production including management of exhibit staff. * Takes leadership role in the development of strategic planning and long range exhibit related goals. * Manages the planning and arrangements of special events such as opening receptions, lectures, etc. * Acts as a liaison with guest curators as well as with other museums and institutions in the development and presentation of loan exhibitions. Qualifications, skills, and abilities required: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred in history, anthropology, or related field, with a specialization in exhibit production or equivalent combination of degrees and experience, with formal training in exhibitry. Excellent computer skills utilizing Microsoft software programs and add-ins. Familiarity with CAD, Smart Draw and other graphic programs. Working knowledge of Past Perfect. Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships. Capable of handling multiple projects and see projects to a point of completion. Ability to serve the Tribal community, the public and fellow employees with honesty and integrity. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the STOF tribal community, general public, co-workers and members of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Ability to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Ability to travel as necessary.
