My museum has several
Japanese/Chinese screens that are needing a permanent in-house home. What
is the best way to store them – vertical, horizontal, flat or on their
side, on a fully supported flat surface (shelf) or will support under 3-4 spots
be OK?
At the moment, some
are vertical leaning up against a wall and others are on their “spine”.
Any help is appreciated.
