Folks:

The Project Journal for 2007 Flinders Maritime Archaeology Field School, held at Victor Harbor on the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia, is now online and will run for two weeks.  Victor Harbor is situated 90 kilometers south of Adelaide on the southern tip of the Fleurieu Peninsula in Encounter Bay. This field school will focus on the maritime heritage of the Fleurieu Peninsula including Victor Harbor and Port Elliot.  

As with our recent East Carolina University Field School the entries will be written by the students themselves.  This project provides an inside look at how an Australian university teaches underwater archaeology to the next generation of researchers.  You can view their posts here:
