Thank you all for your suggestions.....as to why we have wine...it was a home brew made for a 25th reunion (I work at a University Museum) and the label is home made for the class with their class moto. So the bottle and label are more important to than the actual wine. (on a side note, at one of my first museum jobs I had the lovely task of emptying a ration kit from WWII. Talk about a nasty job, cleaning out canned ham, canned eggs, canned juice, canned pecan rolls. The cans were all bulging on all sides!!!) ********************** Marielle Fortier Museum Registrar Norwich University Museum Northfield, Vermont ********************** >From: Cindy Boyer <[log in to unmask]> >Reply-To: Museum discussion list <[log in to unmask]> >To: [log in to unmask] >Subject: Re: Wine bottle storage >Date: Thu, 11 Jan 2007 10:29:24 -0500 > >I'm curious to know why the wine would be accepted into your collection. >Is there a historic connection, connection with your mission? > >If you decide to keep them: What type of corks do they have?
