Charting a Course: New Models for Times of Change

California Association of Museums' Annual Conference

February 21-24, 2007

Long Beach, California

 

The California Association of Museums (CAM) invites you to begin charting
your course for a better future at the 2007 CAM conference in Long Beach,
California, February 21-24, 2007. This conference will bring together a
diverse group of museum professionals from across California for a
stimulating and enjoyable exchange of ideas, perspectives, and resources.
Long Beach's waterfront, harbors, and cultural offerings will be the
backdrop for an unforgettable conference with numerous Long Beach
institutions hosting workshops and special events. The conference will be
held at the Coast Long Beach Hotel, with views of the city and the harbor.
An overview of the workshops, sessions, events and speakers is listed below.

 

CAM has reserved a block of rooms at the Coast Long Beach Hotel for
Wednesday, February 21-Friday, February 24, 2007 at a discounted rate of
$115.00 plus tax. For a room with a bay view, the group rate is $135.00 plus
tax. Reservations must be made through the hotel by calling (562) 435-7676
and asking for the "California Association of Museums" group rate. To
receive the group rate, reservations must be made by January 31, 2007. These
rooms are available first come, first served and the quantity is limited.
