It looks like you don't have many options here. "Other Tools and Equipment for Communication" within Category 6 seems to be the best you can do. That, at least, allows you to place it in the proper category and classification. It is a somewhat flexible system in that you can add the terms you need for your own institution, although they would not be added to the generalized system itself. For further clarification, you may want to contact a member of the Nomenclature Committee to see how they feel about institutions adding terms as needed. I don't think they would object.Jeff TenuthIndiana State Museum

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Nomenclature Rears its Pesky Head AgainOkay, folks, I need help again in naming an object. It’s called a Copy-Quick! - basically a small copy stand made specifically to allow the user to duplicate Polaroid photographs by fastening the camera into the stand, placing the existing photo into it, and shooting another picture. So, it’s not a camera, it’s a copy stand, which doesn’t exist according to Nomenclature. What would y’all call it? Would you add copy stand into Nomenclature?
Thanks, as always,
Anne
