DEPUTY DIRECTOR for William King Regional Arts Center, Abingdon, Virginia.  Chief operations officer responsible for financial management, human resources, facilities and grounds, grants administration, and compliance issues.  Reports directly to executive director and is supported by bookkeeping service, contracted maintenance service, and staff in charge of security and facility.  Accredited by the American Association of Museums, WKRAC is a private non-profit corporation with an annual operating budget of $1,400,000; 11 FT and 12 PT staff; and programming comprised of changing art exhibitions, art education for public and school audiences, regional decorative arts collection.
