That way, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Robot women
exhibit
Dear All,
I am a professor and very new to the museum world. This summer I
produced an exhibit titled "Alluring Androids, Robot Women, and Electronic
Eves" which was first hosted by the New York Hall of Science in
The images are accompanied by detailed wall texts, and the
exhibit is an outgrowth of my book Women and the Machine: Representations
From the Spinning Wheel to the Electronic Age (Johns Hopkins Univ. Press).
My question to you is this: I am trying to find other venues for
this exhibit and am wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I am also
wondering whether this type of exhibit sounds like it is best for a science
museum or whether it might also be of interest to art galleries and
other types of exhibit spaces.
Thanks very much for your help.
