I think we’re all making the assumption
that this teacher’s problem is a direct result of the field trip and nude art.
I think there’s far more politics at play. One of the articles says that she
had asked for a transfer to another school and that the district felt it was
necessary for her to “confront and deal” with her past problems. I think there’s
bad blood between the teacher and the principal and this thing is a sort of
revenge. It may also be as evil as the school district trying to deprive the
teacher of her retirement benefits too. She’s got 28 years in – most teachers
leave after 30.

This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. What did these
parents expect? Dogs playing poker?
In the school district where I live, a high school science teacher is
going through trans-gender surgery. I wonder how those parents would deal with
that?
