The Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum
is seeking a Membership Coordinator. The
candidate for this position will be responsible for implementing the Member Services
Program as well as managing and maintaining the Past Perfect database on
members, donors and new prospects. This position reports to the Museum
Development Coordinator and will work closely with the Development Coordinator
to design and administer strategies for building and maintaining the membership
program via direct mail, email, annual appeal/campaign; and to develop and
implement innovative strategies to identify and solicit prospective membership;
upgrade and renew current members and increase member retention. This is a
non-exempt position.

Museum members • Assist in the generation and production of relevant
Membership materials. • Work with Development Coordinator to evaluate and
update member benefits. • Administer member benefits and
acknowledgements. • Coordinate Museum
representation and conduct membership promotions at community and civic events,
as well as on-site Museum events. •Prepare monthly Membership
report. • Maintain Past Perfect database to include current and former
membership records, capital campaign and prospective member information. •
Log, and process all gifts on Past Perfect; prepare receipts and
acknowledgements. • Maintain and create reports in Past Perfect on
contributions, donors and prospective members as needed. • Lend support
in other Museum areas as directed by Development Coordinator, Museum Director
and Executive Director. • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, skills, and abilities required: Bachelor’s degree
required. Minimum three (3) years membership program related experience, Museum
Industry preferred. Ability to maintain accurate records and strong
organizational skills are imperative. English written and verbal communication
skills essential. Knowledge of Past Perfect museum software
helpful. Excellent computer skills utilizing Microsoft
programs and add-ins. Ability to work a flexible work schedule including
evenings, weekends and Holidays. Ability to travel as
necessary.
