I am not in a museum, but I am just starting one for our non-profit. It's not public yet, so I have no experiences to share as of yet. I will tell you about museums and art galleries in my area who do have them. Perhaps they can help. I am giving you the MySpace sites for them, not their main websites.
There are plenty of theatres, environmental groups, public radio stations, etc. that I can forward on, but for now, this should be a good start.
