At my former museum in Milwaukee, we were paid at standard hourly/salaried rates while serving on jury duty (it was a Union shop). However, I had to sign over my jury duty check ($7.00 per day) to the Museum once I received it from the courthouse.

Subject: Jury Duty leave

We are in the process of updating our personnel policies.  I have a question as to whether an employer must provide paid leave for jury or witness duty.  Anybody care to share their policy.
