Audio-Visual Collections Coordinator
International Tennis Hall of Fame (ITHF)
General description:
The AV Collections Coordinator is
responsible for all aspects of collections management for audio-visual materials
held by the International Tennis Hall of Fame. For information on the

Position is full-time with benefits.
Principal duties:
- Organize,
identify and catalog AV items
- Handle
research requests
- Supervise
transfer of collections content for preservation and access purposes
- Research
and implement procedures for digitization of materials
- Maintain
media equipment for use in the Research
Center
- Assist
with updating videos in exhibitions
- Assist
in preparing grant proposals for AV and other museum-related projects
- Advance
the use of AV collections in research and programming
- Guide
collection acquisitions and development
- Develop
or improve policies and procedures and monitor their implementation
- Develop
relationships with vendors and other institutions
- Train
and supervise interns
- Other
duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Master’s
degree or equivalent in media archive, library, or museum studies or other
relevant field
- 1-2
years experience with AV materials in an archive or library setting
- Knowledge
of AV collections management issues (such as conservation, preservation
and access)
- Familiarity
with Microsoft Office Suite and Access-based database programs
- Strong
oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated
experience in the duties listed above
- Knowledge
of tennis and tennis history (preferred but not required)
