We use an instution-wide style guide based on the Chicago Manual of Style.  However, upon looking at what was handed out to staff, this guide does not include information on bibliographical citations.

Subject: style manuals

Good afternoon,

Do any of your institutions have an official style manual that is used, such as Chicago Manual, Kate Turabian, Ohio State, etc.? (I am specifically interested in Bibliographical citations.)

If so, which one?

Also, is this a departmental policy or an organization-wide one? Are there any cases where perhaps research/collections may be using one and PR or someone else using another?

Thank you, I am rather curious to hear.

Lisa
