You may want to check out Beloit College. They have two museums on campus--art and anthropology--as well as degree programs in Museum Studies, Anthropology and Art. When I was a student, our classes used artifacts from the collection and I helped to install exhibits. In a message dated 6/5/2006 2:01:55 P.M. I'm using examples from my own institution throughout, but want to include examples from other places. There was a great conference at the Tang that covered some of this as well. Does anyone have any examples they'd be interested in sharing? Anything--from a brief description to an article to a link to a website--is appreciated. And it does not always have to be positive!
