Job Title:  Museum Guide

Decatur House, a 19th century historic house museum located near the White House seeks a part-time museum guide. Duties include leading tours of the historic site, conducting educational and school programs, staffing the museum's visitor services desk, collecting daily visitation statistics, and completing related museum projects as assigned.

College degree required. Past guide/museum experience preferred but not required. Job Title:  Museum Sales Associate
 
The Decatur House Museum is looking for an enthusiastic part-time shop assistant to work on Saturdays.   Duties  include customer service, display, unpacking incoming merchandise, pricing, and membership sales. We are a Museum Shop that promotes and enhances the themes of this 19th-century National Trust historic site, such as general American and naval history, architecture, and entertaining.
