Becca, Try and contact our registrar/archivist Denise Morrison, 816-460-2000 [I can't wait to see the exhibit, when you end up doing it, let us know. It would make a good "field trip."] L. This would enhance a traveling exhibit "In Citizen's Garb" Southern Plains Native Americans, 1889-1891" However, we are having trouble finding affordable insurance to cover this loan. Typically we do not insure borrowed artifacts because we simply cannot afford it but this is a very extensive and impossible to replace collection of artifacts and the owner, understandably, will not loan them to us without the insurance. What do other institutions do? Can anyone suggest an affordable company? Do you have this issue written into your Collections Policy? We would love to have this collection but we need an affordable solution. Thanks for anything you can tell us, Becca ========================================================= Important Subscriber Information: The Museum-L FAQ file is located at http://www.finalchapter.com/museum-l-faq/ .
