Hi George,
We recently purchased a system for a
temporary exhibition of paintings from Walker Display. It was very easy to
install!

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Framed
portrait wall hanging systems
A colleague at a local
children's museum visited today to ask about systems that allow you to easily
hang and re-hang framed works. You know the type - long strips of metal/plastic
on top of the wall that you slide a hook into, then hang a metal or plastic
string with another hook and attach the frame to it? Our system is over 10
years old, and I wasn't here when we bought it, so I don't have a source handy.
Can anyone out there recommend a good system?
Thanks in advance,
George Garner
P.S. It's for a small orientation space in a children's museum, so the portraits
won't be very large or heavy and won't need to change terribly often (maybe
once every other year to start).
