AAM-accredited art museum in West Texas seeks energetic and experienced museum administrator to work with board of trustees, dedicated staff and enthusiastic volunteers.  The successful candidate should have at least 5 years museum experience and Masters degree in Museum Studies, Art History or Studio Art.  The director has oversight responsibility for the museum’s programming and resources which include: sophisticated facility, an expanding collection of American Art, an active exhibit schedule, education programs for all ages and a growing endowment.

 

The search committee is looking for a person with excellent communication skills and a passion for art.  Knowledge of finance, development and fund-raising essential.  Salary commensurate with experience.
