Susan, you might want to check with the Mint Hill Historical Society's
Country Doctor Museum. It's outside of Charlotte, NC, and they have
worked with a number of old buildings on that site. Their web address is

Has anyone on the list been involved in a project where a small
historical society has been given an older building to rehabilitate and
renovate as a museum?  I would appreciated any advice and answers on or
