Salary:  $39,541 to $50,502 
  
Qualifications: 
Bachelor’s Degree in Museum Studies or closely related field and three 
years of artifact conservation, preservation and/or museum programming 
experience. 
  
Preferences: 
   Master’s Degree in Museum Studies or related discipline. 

Knowledge of research and conservation principles, protocols, techniques 
and standards of field.  Knowledge of Past Perfect Software  
  
Duties Include: 
   Directing and participating in daily collection management activities. 
Implementing methods for preservation and conservation of items including 
artifacts, art, photographs and documentary records. Supervising database 
development of respective collections. 
Planning and facilitating exhibitions, programs, classes and publications 
based on respective collections. 
Maintaining relationships with federal, regional, state and other external 
agencies. 
Negotiating repository agreements and deeds of gift. Evaluating donations 
and acquisitions, administering loan agreements and ensuring adherence to 
established policies. 
Performing other related duties as assigned. 
Hours per Week: 40
