We have used Filemaker Pro for years for our collections, scheduling, rental program, memberships, gift shop, etc. I have now been employing the Kiosk function of Filemaker developer to make kiosks for visitors.

I have used FileMakerPro at two different museums and at home and am very pleased with both its versatility and the ease of use. It is cross-platform, both PC and MAC.

Subject: Museum Software
The Museum Studies Department at the University of the Arts is in the process of purchasing a museum software package to catalog the university's collections as well as to use as a teaching tool. I am interested in learning what other museums (small, medium and large) are using. Also, I would be particularly interested in institutions that are using Mac-based programs.
Thank you!
