How many of these were the hot technology when you
first started working with them, and how many can you
now work with today?

The fact is that data contained in all of these media can be recovered with some effort even if they have been left in non-ideal conditions untouched by human hands for decades.
 
Of course whole vaults of these media have been lost through mismanagement and neglect. How will mismanagement and neglect affect actively managed storage?
