========================================================= Important Subscriber Information:I would be interested to hear about how loan fees are handled at other institutions.Does your museum charge loan fees?If so, how much?Is the fee characterized as a fee for actually borrowing the object or as a processing fee to help offset staff time, etc.?Does the fee vary based on the length of the loan or the number of objects borrowed?Do you charge only for for-profit insitutions? Or those institutions that, themselves, charge loan fees? Do you have a liberal policy for waiving loan fees for smaller institutions that cannot afford the fee, but whose exhibits you wish to support? Please feel free to respond to me off-list, if you would prefer. Many thanks!Catherine DeanCatherine E.
