For years, my institution has not put any donor/donation information on its exhibit labels. Recently, a decision has been made to change that practice by adding a "donated by Jane Jones" sort of credit line at the bottom of our new labels.

Our label writers are a bit concerned about the range of credit information that donors might want included, and I wonder if any of you might have a list of any policies, practices or procedures that governs your wording, especially any information that you do not permit on the label.
Thanks
John Odell
