NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ULTURAL PROPERTY PROTECTION UPDATE As a reminder the National Conference on Cultural Property Protection is scheduled for February 26, 2006 through March 1, 2006 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott, Arlington, Virginia. We have some changes that are important to note: For those of you who received our brochure the number for the hotel is misprinted. The correct number for the hotel is 1-800-228-9290. Also because of problems with our webpage we now have a new site - http://www.ofeo.si.edu/natconf At this site you will be able to register for the conference, receive information on the hotel and other pertinent information. You may also find out more information by going to the Friends of the National Conference at: www.nationalsecurityconference.org This site will update the vendor list and other relevant information that will assist you . We would like to find out if you would be interested a day long session on Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness. If there is enough interest the session would be held on Sunday, February 26 at the hotel. There would be an additional charge for this session. Once we find out how much interest there is then we can let you know the cost. Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness is on everyone's mind especially since Hurricane Katrina. The presentations would be by experts who are involved in this type of work on a daily basis. As a reminder as you plan your trip our final training session on March 1 generally ends around 4:00 pm. If you should have any questions or need additional information please contact Donna Taylor or JJ McLaughlin at 202-357-3375. ========================================================= Important Subscriber Information: The Museum-L FAQ file is located at http://www.finalchapter.com/museum-l-faq/ .
