The Pettaquamscutt Historical Society in Kingston, Rhode Island, has a very old movie projector available to an appropriate new owner. It is a Nicholas Power Co. S-3 made in New York. It is about four feet tall, four feet wide and a foot and a half across. It is also heavy, maybe about 400 pounds. There are two 2" x 15" reel winders and has been modified to show 1.5" x 2.5" slides. It has a light bulb and comes with two lenses, one made by Bausch & Lomb Optical and the other by Gundlach Manhatten Optical, both in Rochester, NY. We have no clue to its age other than the early 20th century. We have no information about the history of this item and it has been deaccessioned by our collections committee. Would fit in the back of a pick-up. You arrange transportation.
