John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove Located in Audubon, Pennsylvania near Valley Forge National Park Announces two exciting full-time employment opportunities… Collections Specialist Responsible for the care, conservation, and documentation of the museum’s extensive collection of art, objects, and archives related to artist/naturalist John James Audubon and the American conservation movement he inspired. Maintains electronic and manual collection records. Processes loans and exhibition records. Oversees crating, shipping, and storage of artworks. Supervises the movement of all objects within the museum; Prepares condition reports and conducts inventories. Plays an important role in developing, designing, and installing exhibits. Qualification: Bachelors degree in museum studies or related field (Masters preferred). Previous experience working with collections in a museum or similar setting. Center Associate Responsible for coordinating public events, rentals and other special activities at the site. Assists with developing public relations and marketing strategies to increase the Center’s visibility locally and nationally. Provides support for Center administration. Qualification: Bachelors degree marketing, public relations or related fields. Superior written and verbal communications skills. Two to five years of related work experience.
