Data loggers/hygrothermographs
Kathleen,

In the past, I have used Veriteq's Spectrum 2000 data loggers.  I don't remember the exact pricing, but I believe we received 15 data loggers along with the software and connector cable for a little less than $6000 (US).  They're very easy to install and use.  It would be fairly simple to train a volunteer or student how to download the readings into the computer program and graph the results.  The graphs were a great way to show the facilities personnel what the climate control problems were and when they occurred.  You can get more information about them at Veriteq's website:

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Data loggers/hygrothermographs

Hi List -

Quick question for you all re. data loggers/hygrothermographs. We're getting ready to move our entire operation into new space and have discovered that we have room in the budget to invest in a better temp/RH monitoring system than what we've had previously. Could anyone recommend a reasonably priced, idiot proof and idiot friendly system?

Many thanks!
Kathleen
