Since we're on the
topic of barcoding, has anyone had any experience with barcoding in an historic
house setting? We have a site in development with a large number of
objects in relatively small spaces. I've been mulling over the idea of
barcoding mainly because of the sheer number of objects, but I see the
advantages as fairly limited, particularly since the objects wouldn't move too
much. Is there any reason I should pursue this? RFID may be more
what we need, but we'll have so many objects in small spaces that it may
limit its effectiveness.
Any input
would be appreciated!
