Actually, it was one of the most useful and true comments posted to the
list! 

 

I agree with everything you said about the contracting field, and how
museums should nonetheless treat their employees with respect. You
certainly played your own tough situation very well, to a happy
conclusion. But as someone else said, luck is a big factor, no matter
how skilled and prepared you are. But if you aren't skilled and
prepared, then luck doesn't matter.
