CURATOR OF ART
Responsibilities: Organizes temporary exhibitions, supervises related
traveling exhibitions, directs research and related publications, procures
acquisitions, works with collectors, and a range of other curatorial duties.
This person will oversee Registrar, and Prep Staff.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess an excellent knowledge
of 19th and 20th century American art and decorative arts
as well as a familiarity with museum practices. An M.A. is essential and
Ph.D., preferred. Candidate must possess excellent writing skills, effective
oral and interpersonal skills, and an outgoing personality.
