This workshop is being conducted by two of the foremost conservators in the country and at one of the nation’s newest conservation centers, the Gerald R. Ford Conservation Center.

Have you wondered how to care for those plastic things in your collection? Now you can learn the right way from people who can teach you. Learn how to use a variety of different plastic polymer materials in collections care applications. Through the use of a variety of

samples and specimens, participants will also be provided a hands-on introduction to the examination, handling, numbering, cleaning, and storage of plastic materials. Workshop will be held at the Gerald R. Ford Conservation Center.
