Dear colleagues, I just finish to setup the list to use for who want to participate to a the Focus discussion group to determine how better involve joung museum professionals in ICOM. Need to be clear that at this step this is not an official ICOM initiative. We will use this list to discuss about ideas and to create a document (manifesto, memorandum of understanding...or any other definition) where to define what to do and how to do. It is better to use this new list for a very active brainstorming, to avoid to produce too many post for this list. We will continue to use ICOM-L and MUSEUM-L for general communication (who post there, please duplicate the post to the YPC list) and for submit to all members any relevant question regarding the Young Group proposal. I call the Focus Discussion list YPC as original idea, this not means any final decision on the name of the group. In the list page you will find a link to a a form. It is very important, please, that every one will fill the form. The list it is accessible from my english home page: http://www.mariobucolo.com In the form I ask information about your hardware equipment to better know your e-communication capability and, obviously if you are member or not of the ICOM and of other association (like AAM etc) and...your age... ;-) I also try a first poll about the name of the group... I hope all it works. Many thanks to all of you.
