Hi all:

James Madison's home, Montpelier, is undergoing a $30+ million
renovation, and has been able to stay open during the restoration. We
provide a PowerPoint presentation, a walking tour of the mansion, we've
created a "Hands-On Restoration" tent for folks to make their own
bricks, do some planing, etc., and have created three exhibitions in a
separate building that relate to the "finished" house, which is slated
to be furnished by March 2008.

We didn't reduce the admission rate; rather, we offer a money-back
guarantee. which only 2-4 couples have asked for in the last year.
Visitors LOVE this restoration, which we tout as the "last of the
founding father's homes" (and/or the last of the presidential homes to
be restored).

Come visit! www.montpelier.org <http://www.montpelier.org/>
