On June 30, 2005 Maria
Finison will finish her term as editor of CultureWork.
CultureWork is an electronic publication of the University of
Oregon Institute for Community Arts Studies. Its mission is to provide
timely workplace-oriented information on culture, the arts, education,
and community. Maria's last issue is the current issue that includes
articles by Paul Bolin, Kristin G. Congdon, and Laurie Hicks. These
articles are part of the Arts and Administration Program's ten-year
commemoration of the Master's Degree in Arts Management. Maria
provided leadership in working with the University of Oregon Knight
Library to link CultureWork with the Scholar's Bank. Scholar's
Bank digitally archives preprints, resarch reports, technical reports,
advisories, working papers, student projects, etc.<

Beginning July 1, 2005 Julie Voelker-Morris and Robert Voelker-Morris
will assume editorial responsibilities for CultureWork.
Julie Voelker-Morris holds a Master's Degree in Arts Management from
the University of Oregon with concentrations in performing and
community arts. She is currently an independent scholar as well
as an adjunct instructor for the Arts and Administration Program at
the University of Oregon.
Julie has worked with
theatre companies around Oregon and the Midwest. Credits include
Lord Leebrick Theatre, Portland Center Stage, the University of
Oregon's University Theatre, American Players Theatre, Mixed Blood
Theatre, and colleges throughout Kansas, Oklahoma, and South
Dakota.Select research interests include theatre and community
engagement; audience development and nonprofit organizations;
organizational development and strategic planning; and intersections
of art and gender.
Robert Voelker-Morris is the Project Coordinator for the IMLS grant
project at the University of Oregon Museum of Natural and Cultural
History. He received his Master's degree in Arts Management from the
University of Oregon with a focus in Museum Studies. Robert works for
the University of Oregon Arts and Administration Program as adjunct
professor teaching courses in visual and media literacy.
Julie and Robert have a two-year old son, Isaac.
