Someone has emailed me off list and questioned whether I have the "right" to publish on my website "bibliographies prepared by others without their permission." If you have sent me a suggestion and you do not want me to include it on my list, please let me know. I have not saved all of your emails, since I have transferred your suggestions to a master list, so I cannot write to each of you for your permission. Not to mention, many of the suggestions have been submitted multiple times -- so whose "permission" do I need in that case? I was not aware that I could be violating the rights of others by asking for your suggestions. One person submitted a lengthy written bibliography and I have asked her for permission to use that. It is my feeling that suggesting one or to titles does not constitute writing an entire "bibliography." Just to note, BellaOnline is a completely volunteer run site -- there is no corporation behind it, and each editor is a volunteer. My thought in making this list is to provide a fun resource for people to use if they are interested in reading and/or watching plots that involve museums. My audience is NOT museum professionals, but the visitors we all hope will visit our sites. So PLEASE, if you would rather that I didn't put your suggestion on my list, please please please let me know that. Thank you. Kim Kenney Kimberly A. Kenney, Curator Wm.
