NEW IN 2005

Certificate Program Introduced
Campbell Center participants now have the option of registering for a Collections Preventive Care Certificate Program. Participants receive a Certificate upon successful completion of a program related to the preservation and care of objects of material culture. The program of study consists of six courses in a combination of core and elective courses. Three different certificates will be awarded depending on the participant's career level and their training needs. For more details about the curriculum and costs visit the Campbell Center web site, Certificate Program page. This Certificate Program development is supported with a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Please note that participants may continue to register for and take individual workshops as they have done in the past, without being enrolled in the Certificate Program.

New Designation for Six Courses
The Collection Care Core Curriculum courses, which formerly consisted of Section I: Environmental Monitoring & Control and Section II: Materials, Examination & Documentation, have been revamped and expanded to accommodate the new Certificate Program. There are now 8 core courses.
