Kim The American Historical Trails is definately linked to the Boy Scouts. Currently in the education Department at the Orange County Regional History Center, we are preparing to have the local BoyScout Group come next month and complete a historic trail of Orlando. They recieve a packet and complete a walking tour of historic orlando and at each of their stops, they have to answer questions pertaining to that particular destination...Upon final completion, they do recieve a merit badge. It promotes local heritage. There is a website, www.thecarolinatrader.com, that has descriptions of the trails and pictures of the medals. This may be what you have in your collection.
